Cultural Diversity is increasingly becoming a more explicit conversation in the work place. It will continue to grow throughout 2013 and beyond. However, while awareness of its importance is growing, the conversation is by no means universal and for some businesses it is easier than others while in others, it doesn’t feature at all. EXCELL (Excellence in Cultural Experiential Learning and Leadership) is an excellent, practical skills based approach that equips people with skills to help them adapt to a new cultural environment. It draws from best practice experiential learning in safe environment.
Through using skills learned through EXCELL, you’ll find it easier to interact with people from other cultures and build effective intercultural relationships.
EXCELL was developed through an international collaboration by Dr Michelle Barker (Australia), Dr Marvin Westwood (Canada), Dr Anita Mak (Australia) and Dr Ishu Ishiyama (Canada).
